Our Philosophy

Therapy, without the clinical distance.

We believe good therapy feels less like a procedure and more like a conversation with someone deeply invested in your wellbeing. Every session is unhurried, private, and shaped around where you actually are — not a fixed curriculum.

Our approach draws on evidence-based modalities — CBT, psychodynamic work, and mindfulness-based practice — delivered in a setting designed to feel restorative rather than sterile.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, a relationship in transition, or simply want a steadier relationship with yourself, our work together starts with listening.

"The goal isn't to fix you. It's to help you understand yourself well enough that you no longer need fixing."

Jason Versace, Founder

Assessments

Tests We Use

PHQ-9

A nine-item depression scale that helps clinicians assess the severity of depression and monitor treatment response.

Commonly used by healthcare providers to screen for clinical depression and determine the need for treatment. Insurance companies often require PHQ-9 scores to approve coverage for certain mental health services.

GAD-7

A seven-item anxiety scale used to screen for and measure the severity of generalized anxiety disorder.

This assessment helps identify anxiety disorders and determine appropriate treatment options. Many insurance providers request GAD-7 results to authorize anxiety-related treatment services.

MDQ

A screening instrument for bipolar disorder that helps identify individuals who may need a more thorough diagnostic evaluation.

The MDQ assists in identifying bipolar symptoms that might otherwise be misdiagnosed. Insurance plans often require this assessment before approving specialized treatments for mood disorders.
